Hare Properties is a family-owned and operated real estate investment and property management company operating across Alberta and British Columbia. From our bases in Calgary and Surrey, we own and manage a portfolio of residential and commercial assets in Calgary, Edmonton, Surrey, Langley, and New Westminster.
We're builders as much as owners. As a family-owned company, we hold our buildings for the long term — not to flip them. Our work ranges from inner-city multifamily and commercial holdings to large-scale adaptive reuse, including the conversion of underused downtown office space into modern residential housing. We take on complex projects others pass on, because that's where we create the most value for our properties and the communities they sit in.

We believe a good apartment shouldn't come with a premium price tag. Our residential buildings offer well-maintained, genuinely nicer units at rents people can actually afford — the kind of place you're happy to come home to, without stretching your budget to get there. We invest in our suites and our buildings so that "affordable" never means "settling."
We're also proud to be pet-friendly. We know pets are family, and finding a quality rental that welcomes them shouldn't be a struggle. Many of our buildings welcome pets, because a home isn't complete without them.
